These days, with the Internet providing everything from information to shopping services, web sites have become fancier and more interactive. With that development however, critical issues have arisen that could provide challenges for web developers and publishers. What could be even more challenging is that web site development and content management functions are moving from the area of marketing and communications over to the information technology department (King, 2002). While IT professionals can certainly boost quality and consistency of web content (King, 2002), these professionals must also insurer that content is user-friendly. One such issue arising has been browser limitation. Web site publishers and developers regularly run into this problem of how to ensure that the websites content pops up a users browser. Not having that content on a browser or can ensure that the site is not used or accessed on a regular basis. Experts recommend that publishers and developers test sites on different browsers and monitors before going live -- and also suggest that designs avoid "long-loading, flashy splash pages" (Business Week Online 2002). Another issue that needs to be considered by a web publisher or developer is that of broadband width.
