of these two landmark shows, policies and certain perspectives were changed in the criminal justice systems. Some of the United States most recognizable images have come from the movie,
The Godfather. Marlon Brandos portrayal, as well as Pacinos intensity has made this movie a classic. In addition what has made this film a classic is that it points too
much that those in the criminal justice system took into consideration. Generally speaking, the movie going public could care less which genre the movie they have chosen to see belongs
to. All they know is that the story and the characters look like they would be interesting and entertaining. However, those who are serious students of cinema realize that categorization
and the determination of a films relation to its genre can make or break a films success. The main character (protagonist), in The Godfather, is played by Al Pacinio
and is named, Michael Corleone. Michael finds himself at a crossroads. He is a second generation Italian and is torn between family loyalties and living fully as an American.
He seems to have made up his mind at the very beginning of the saga. He has become a part of the military
and he has a very non-Italian girlfriend. In fact, he even jokes about his family, especially his father, and makes fun of the way that his father and family do
