together in one room for a pre-determined amount of time, only drawn together by the fact that theyre taking the same scholastic subject.
In this paper, well discuss what can happen if a teacher or professor unknowingly hurts a student through criticism of a project. This can happen frequently - especially because
one students constructive criticism can be another students painful experience. In this particular situation, the student, along with his fellow students, was
asked to turn in a paper about a specific topic (in this case, the topic involved astronomy). Because the student had shared this topic with many of his friends, his
friends were fairly well-versed in what the student was writing. But imagine this persons horror when the professor singled out the paper,
and read it to the class, as an example of how not to write a particular paper. For 15 minutes, the student sat there, mortified, as the teacher proceeded to
tear apart the students research methods and writing skills, then ending the discussion with "Theres trouble with this paper, and this is not going to get a good grade." Its
true that the professor didnt specifically name the student, but enough people knew who the student was. As he sat there, flushed in shame as the teacher then went on
