Little Shop of Horrors (the new version) or they hated it. What follows is a comparison and analysis of two reviews of this production. The original movie, released in 1960,
had a very different ending than the Menken movie-musical, however the dilemmas remained the same. Seymour Krelbourn is a down and out young man living on skid row. He is
employed by Mr. Mushnick in a flower shop where he is a janitor. Seymour shortly shows that he is inept and clumsy. A bumbler, the audience learns that Seymour has
a history of breaking things, or forgetting things, which have added to the lack of business in the store. This Broadway musical chronicles the rags to riches rise of Seymour.
