100 people, some of whom work in the office, some of whom work on the assembly line, and some of whom work with dealerships to sell the chairs.
AA Corp. is led by Alex Anderson (hence AA) whose leadership style is that of, to put it bluntly, the classical leader who
manages by intimidation. He is the main decision-maker, and he should be, because he built his company up from scratch, with little more than a small amount of money and
his own will power and sweat equity. As a result, he never lets his employees forget who is the boss. He
believes all of his employees should be there at 8:00 a.m. sharp and should not be allowed to leave until 5:00 p.m. If they need to go to the doctors
office or something like that, they should either plan to schedule appointments outside the office, or they should plan to take it from their sick time. After all, he never
allowed himself sick time while he was building up the business, so why should his employees expect the same amount of time?
This would not be a problem, except for the fact that the amount of sick leave an average employee receives is five days. A terrible head cold or a
good bout of the flu eats up that time in little or no time at all. If that happens, then employees can use their vacation days. Once the vacation days
