During the past 10 years, however, a concept known as "career coaching" has been introduced in the workplace. Considered a combination of career counseling,
organizational consulting and employee development, coaching, as its called, was introduced during the 1990s, and seems to still be in practice today. Though this is still a relatively new concept,
those who embrace the process note that use of coaching skills to manage will create more productive, dedicated employees in an organization.
In this paper, well explore this concept further, by defining what coaching is and by determining the benefits of the activity. Well also discuss what the critics are saying about
