for Holmes. Rather, criminal investigation is a field in which the person involved must know how to put together pieces of a
puzzle and track through seemingly unrelated clues in order to come up with something of a conclusion. More often than not, those conclusions might be wrong, meaning the investigator needs
to go back to the beginning of the puzzle and try to unravel it once again. In this paper, well outline some
