from here to there, the writer needs to determine 1) What skills and education shell need for advancement toward her goal; 2) A plan for achieving those professional goals and
3) Professional organizations that can help. Skills Needed We can assume that, from the writers current job, that she is responsible for the
day-to-day administrative tasks required to keep the medical practice running smoothly (Healthcare office manager, 2010). Rather than working directly with the patients, she is likely more focused on the business
aspects of her employers practice. This can include, but is not limited to, budgeting tasks, ordering supplies, marketing/public relations, hiring and firing, creating procedures for dealing with patients and staff

good skills that can be transferred into that of a facilitys healthcare director. Its likely that the writer will also need to get a little more management education (if she
