It has been shown to be the case that for human beings in their everyday lives, ethical guidelines and the application of ethical methodologies form an important
part of social and interpersonal relationships. The same can be said of corporate organisations, since business ethics are considered as the moral principles which govern decision-making and behaviour in the
business world. Consequently, there will be
points at which decisions cannot be made on the grounds of previous experience or practice, but will have to be weighed and assessed in terms of relative moral values: this
will involve the ethical codes of the individual being brought into play, and therefore personal ethics can be seen to affect business decisions. In theory, rapidly changing organisational structures will
require the ability to cope with new situations, and therefore more flexible and organic structures will require a greater utilisation of ethical codes in order to deal with decision- and
