a firm that deals ion a large scale and with the need to keep meticulous records that there is a bureaucratic structure, however when looking at the organization in the
context of Mintzberg structures this reflects a professional structure. Price Waterhouse Coopers is a professional organization. The key part of the organization
is the operating core; in this case those with the accounting and other business consultancy skills and knowledge with the controlling of the organization through the standardization of those skills.
This position results in a situation where the structure can be fragmented with little communication between different offices and teams that are specializing on certain clients.
Communications takes place in a hieratical manner, with individual reporting to their team leaders and superiors. The culture is focused on those who have the knowledge
as well as the ability to bring in and retain clients. Internally there is a rather competitive culture which helps to explain why the fragmented structure, with separated departments, especially
geographically, operates well. With a vertical reporting structure and bureaucratic constraints due to the nature of the business and the importance of record keeping there is a division of labor
