can help with the different processes. In this paper we will look at seven books, considering their content and perspective that they can provide. Entrepreneurship and Small Business by
Michael Schaper and Thierry Volery. This book is now in its second edition. The focus of this book is on entrepreneurship and the way it may be applied to
small businesses. Small businesses are seen as similar to entrepreneurship process, but they are not the same thing. The entrepreneur process is presented as a dynamic process that is changing
and adapting to take advantage of the environment, it is a proactive approach to business. The book outlines the start up processes, specially focusing at the Australian and
the South East Asian area, and is presented in a practical manner with examination of markets in Australia and New Zealand as well as Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia.
There is a great deal of practical advice for small businesses and start up, form the use of planning to the way markets can be assessed. The approach is general
and the book seeks to give guidance rather than academic conversation. There is a section in the book which makes use of scenarios fore the reader so consider what they
would do in a given situation. The book also contains profiles of small business leaders in the different Australasian and South East Asian context, discussing their style and approach
