He does tell the truth. Yet, in the boardroom, his behavior borders on bullying. At least, some see it that way and there are many uncomplimentary stories about the way
he fires people. Of course, that is what the show is about and participants know they will be bullied by a boss because part of the rules is that someone
must get fired and Trump must do the firing. In fact, it is why people like to watch. But bullying leaders in the workplace is an unfortunate reality of the
day. Eve Tahmincioglu (2006) points out that while there are many bad bosses, they often have a history of having bad bosses themselves. That is, the bullying boss has probably
been bullied by a boss in the past (Tahmincioglu, 2006). Indeed, that is probably how he learned his bad behavior. Of course, Donald Trump is really not a good example
of a bully. He is an autocratic manager perhaps, but the tasks assigned are fair, and he does diplomatically go through the motions of listening to everyones side. Still, his
behavior is sometimes intimidating. Yet, it is important to distinguish true bullying behavior from stern management. An example of a bully is Vadim Ponorovsky. He is the owner of
Paradous, a French bistro located in Manhattan (Zeldner, 2010). Ponorovsky sent an email to his employees and accused them of being lazy and then he threatened to fire anyone who
does not collect at least twenty email addresses per week from their customers (Zeldner, 2010). The email he sent was quickly put out onto the Internet and the general public
