he is a very excitable and skillful boy. He wants things to be different, better, and he travels around and seeks a home he can feel he belongs in. Another
character is his Aunt Dot who is a woman who is not happy in her marriage. She and her husband do not talk or do anything together. Plot Summary:
The story does not necessarily come to a complete end, perhaps leaving the reader wanting another continuing story. But, in the story Magees parents die in the beginning and he
sets out to find a place he can call his home, a place where he feels he belongs. Along the way he meets many interesting people. One Major Theme:
It feels as though the writer wanted the reader to see how all people are essentially the same, that they all need and want family and friends, and that people
