Horse, first published in 1991. The carefully selected title references a passage from the New Testament, in which it is written in Revelation 6:8, "And I looked, and behold
a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him" (cited in Boyer, 2004). This is the authors way of implying that
most evil of conspiracies can be found in the seemingly most innocuous of forms that can be covertly unleashing death and destruction. Behold a Pale Horse is an intimidating
and voluminous text comprised of 17 chapters and 7 Appendices that all combine to say essentially the same thing: parallel to the Old World order everyone is familiar with there
is a new world order of UFOs and aliens of which the American government would prefer citizens remain unaware (Boyer, 2004). However, despite the citing of a truly mind
boggling number of sources, author Michael Barkun issued a harsh criticism of Behold a Pale Horse in his text A Culture of Conspiracy: Apocalyptic Visions in Contemporary America. Barkun
