using personality questionnaires" (Srivastava, 2008). The term Five Factor Theory, developed by different authors attempts to explain how these factors influence personality (Srivastava, 2008). As a side-note, there is more
than one Five-Factor Theory (Srivastava, 2008). The most probable reason for these differences is that the Five-Factor Model is relatively recent in research related to personality (Popkins, 1998). The Big
Five Factors are: 1. Extraversion is a trait related to the tendency to be active, outgoing, and to how interested a person is in external events and other people, (Anglin,
2005; Popkins, 1998). It is usually accompanied with self-confidence (Popkins, 1998). Its opposite is introversion. 2. Agreeableness is associated with the tendency to be kind, trusting and trustworthy (Anglin, 2005).
Agreeableness is about how well one gets along with others (Popkins, 1998). 3. Conscientiousness relates to the degree to which a person "considers others when making decisions" (Popkins, 1998). Another
important part of this dimension is dependability and doing a job well (Anglin, 2005). 4. Neuroticism has to do with emotional stability, the degree of anxiety and fear the person
feels, depression and moodiness and overall life adjustment (Anglin, 2005; Popkins, 1998). Some authors and researchers discuss this in terms of emotional adjustment (Anglin, 2005). 5. Openness to Experience is
about how willing a person is to make adjustments in their thinking based on new experiences (Popkins, 1998). It is related to creativity and perceptiveness (Anglin, 2005). As can be
