To identify the epic nature of Beowulfs heroism, one must also be able to pinpoint the tales many other representations and ultimately come to the realization that the storys true and determined value is utterly impossible to replace in favor of what some only perceive as being the absolute truth; rather, aspiration enables readers to interpret Beowulf in a greater complexity than simple superficiality, inasmuch as the components of strength, courage, power and physical aptitude have as much in common with social implications as with historical rhetoric. The celebration of life that Beowulf represents is indicative of the inherent display of Aristotles own social awareness, which helps one to apply the aspect of epic heroism. Looking only at the myopic value of the story tends to encourage one to disregard the more deeply rooted social implications that are so apparent to those who assess Beowulf from an aspiring point of view. The ambitious virtues that Beowulf embodies are representative of the earnest attempts required for such characters of this particular genre to be recognized as epic heroes; indeed, when one looks carefully at the inference of such supreme power and authority, it is truly not that difficult to readily understand the inherent importance of possessing such ambitious characteristics.
