degree of self-efficacy affects everything in a persons life. Self-efficacy leads to the belief that one can be successful in that situation. People who have a strong self-efficacy are able
to identify things they want to change, establish goals and take the actions necessary to achieve those goals (Cherry, 2011). An individuals self-efficacy is directly related to how a person
approaches their goals and tasks (Cherry, 2011). People with strong self-efficacy perceive challenges as problems to be mastered; they recover quickly from disappointments; and they have a strong interest in
the activities in which they are involved (Cherry, 2011). Bandura identified four sources of self-efficacy. They are enactive mastery experiences, vicarious experiences, verbal persuasion and social influences, and physiological and
affective states of being (Bandura, 1982; Bandura, 1997). These influences affect the person through cognitive processing and through reflection. Bandura (1997) explains there are two functions related to cognitive processing

and integrate the information they receive (Bandura, 1997). Enactive mastery experiences are the most powerful and the most influential of the four sources. These experiences provide the individual with the

the task. It is not really useful if a person succeeds every time because they will not know how to deal with failure or how to overcome failure. Difficulties and
setbacks are helpful in developing self-efficacy if the individual is able to overcome the challenges and obstacles to success (Bandura, 1982; Bandura, 1997). They become stronger and gain confidence in
