When graduating from college, one is faced with more difficult decisions than choosing a major. Sometimes, college graduates are not sure what they want to do with the rest of
their lives. People want to have fulfilling careers, but above all, they want to have a fulfilling life. Often, the work and life balance is difficult to achieve because
as they say, there is more month at the end of the money. In other words, ideally, one could work five days per week, have weekends off to play with
their children and enjoy the evenings with family and friends. In fact, that is how it used to be. Today, people are holding down multiple jobs and even the desirable
corporate job usually demands a great deal of time. Hence, the questions arise. A student asks: "What role should work play in a well-lived life? What parts of work contribute
to life? what parts detract? How much material comfort is required? How much is too much? " Life Coach Michael Neill (2006) suggests that people ask themselves whether or not
making money is a worthy goal. The idea is to decide how much money one feels is a worthy goal. Is it just enough to get by, or is making
enough money to pay bills and go on an annual vacation a worthy goal? In defining how much money one wants to make, one is well on their way to
achieving that coveted balance. Work plays an enormous role in terms of personal fulfillment, but at the end of the day, family matters. There are only so many hours in
the day, so people must choose how much time they are willing to spend working. Sometimes, it is difficult to cut back on working hours when there are bills to
