eradication of diseases and genetic defects. Shaywitz and Ausiello argue that technology has gone beyond the bounds of practical medicine: "but this time technology has finally advanced far enough
that it will enable medicine and medical research to return to some of its best, and most old-fashioned, traditions. In fact, the emerging gene sciences will reunite the patient,

improving life. The problem becomes the ethical or moral considerations of creation. The concept of stewardship is based on the belief that God designated humans as stewards or
guardians over Gods Creation, and thus care for all of creation is appropriate and necessary. All of creation is considered good if it is Gods creation and left in
the care of humanity. "As stewards of God, "made in Gods image and likeness... we are not simulating a divine role ... we are carrying out the divine mandate"
