the workplace. According to the Phenomenological Model Of Work and Culture she appears to fit into the third, more subtle division known as "movement toward the inner circle or the
core of the occupation or organization" (38). In this we see that she has risen in terms of being regarded as viable in her position. She has not moved up
the ladder, but has "become more central and included as...she acquires experience and is trusted more" (p. 38). In truth, it seems she perhaps did this long ago for her

any ladder in the grocery business. She has always been a checker and has always loved it. This provides her with a stable foundation that does not need more and
