dream of many people, there is sometimes a lack of understanding in terms of how to go about realizing this dream. Along with the advantages of buying and owning
a home comes some downsides and costs, and the potential homeowner needs to be aware of these. The purpose of this paper
is to try to take a potential homeowner through the costs and advantages of housing expenditures, more specifically, buying a home, refinancing and already-owned home and selling a home.
By the end of this paper, it is hoped that the reader will have a better understanding of the rather complex process involved
when it comes to housing expenditures. As with most things, there are many hidden costs when it comes to purchasing a home, and the potential homeowner needs to be aware
