and 2007, there is still a demand for the service, given there were 103 childcare slots available in a county that has 966 children. Furthermore, the childcare facilities available dont
take into account the special needs of hospital employees. Childcare centers are licensed by the state of Kansas, with childcare workers required
to fulfill various educational courses and training. Its anticipated that the childcare center at Satanta District Hospital will help save the institution money by reducing absenteeism and boosting productivity. The
day care center will initiate the states required staffing proposal of 1:4, which is recommended for mixed ages between 0 and 6 years old.
The proposed financial budget takes into account that the childcare center wont be fully functional until its been operating for a minimum of six months. We fully anticipate
