their goods and services. But the one fatal mistake many companies make is to just assume that any old Web site will
do. This is simply not true. Planning of a Web site as a retail/informational channel takes as much times and effort as planning any other part of business. Simply throwing
a Web site up and assuming people will come to it (and love it) just doesnt do the trick. A Web site needs to be functional as well as user-friendly.
Experts have put it succinctly - the only reason to have a Web site is to drive a dialogue between a business
and its customers (Katz, 2003). Beyond this, almost everything else is secondary. Is the purpose of the site to drive purchases? The site must convince the customer to buy. Is
the purpose of the site to impart information? The site must convince the customer that this is the place to obtain the information, and that the customer will not benefit
from clicking the mouse to go to another site. In this paper, well study some aspects as they pertain to developing and
creating a Web site. Well answer certain questions that pertain to the development, and try to supply the necessary answers. To Outsource - or Not?
