Before we begin, it should be known that saying "were going to define a brain tumor" is similar to saying "were going to define
cancer" - there are so many different types of brain tumors and brain cancer out there, its hard to pinpoint any one specific for general use or general definition. In
fact, there are more than 120 different types of brain tumors, meaning finding one effective treatment is difficult (Braintumor.org). Each case for brain tumor needs to be analyzed differently. But
there are some factors to brain tumors that do have commonality. Symptoms of someone who has a brain tumor can include headaches
(especially those that wake the patient up in the mornings); seizures in a person who doesnt ordinarily have a history of seizures, personality changes, eye weaknesses, vomiting or nausea, speech
disturbances or memory loss (Braintumor.org). But doctors also point out that such symptoms could be indicative of other health problems as well (Braintumor.org).
Overall, there are two types of brain tumors - these are primary brain tumors that begin in the brain itself, and metastic brain tumors that actually originate from cancer
cells that have migrated into the brain from other parts of the body (The Oncology Channel (b), 2004). The reason why its clear to understand the difference between these two
