the first consideration are the needs of the customers that will be served. There are two sets of customers, the first are the end users who will be using the
CD changers. The needs of this market will include the need reliability and easy use, quality and functionality to provide the users with all required options will also be important
at the upper end of the market. If looking at the after market for a CD changer that is to be added to an existing in car stereo system, either
as an addition or as a replacement there may need to be the satisfaction of easy fitting of the unit which complies with relevant space limitation. For example if sold
as a replacement the changer unit will need to fit in the existing space allocated. Clear instructions for the after sales market may also be a requirement. With a high
quality unit the after sales service may also need to be considered, including the guarantee and a high quality of customer support; these are expectations that tend to be associated
with upper market products (Kotler and Keller, 2008). The second set of buyers are the automotive manufacturers; if the firm wishes to sell to the new market this is
