doing relativity well in recent years, with growth in the Arab banking sector, but there are also problems to come, with increased competition and it is unlikely that the bank
will be able to escape the associated problem of the credit crunch. BBAC was founded in 1956 by three founders, the first three leaders; Toufic Assaf; Nashaat Sheikhelkard and
Jamal Shehaiber, all now deceased. BBAC is registered under the Lebanese Bank list under number 28, and has a capital of 77 billion and has 36 branches located across
6 countries (BBAC, 2008). The bank targets affluent customers in the private and the commercial sector and undertakes retail and commercial banking activities an is ranked at number 82 in
a list of the top 100 Middle East banks (Siddiqi, 2008). It is also a member of the Union of the Arab Banks and the association of the Lebanese banks
