flipping burgers at MacDonalds. Taylors original purpose in studying the method by which goods were produced was to discover an approach that could
make manufacturing more efficient. He originated the concept of the time study and broke down the entire process of manufacturing a product into a series of steps. Each
of these steps was timed with a stopwatch for the purpose of determining how long each took to finish properly. If that quantity was known, then factory foremen could
better estimate the time necessary to produce the goods it made. Computer-bound workers today effectively work to the dictates of the "stopwatch" that takes the shape of electronic records.

a staff of five, Sunil Silva has been notified that his department should be able to assimilate the order processing duties of the business that the company has just acquired.
