into a contract may be limited by his age. Assessments of both his age and the intent of the contract are important in determining the outcomes of a case
between Chris and Rob, who offered him a room in exchange for work via a verbal contract. The Details Chris is a boy attending a senior high school in
Parramatta. Chris and Rob, an owner of a house near the school, decided to enter in to a verbal agreement in which Rob would provide Chris with a suite
of rooms in his home from January 15, 2005 through November 15, 2005. In exchange for use of these rooms, Chris promised Rob he would mow the lawn every
second weekend and weed the surrounding gardens every weekend using tools that were provided by Rob. In addition, Chris also agreed to clean Robs bathroom and kitchen every Saturday
morning. One day, though, Chris returned to find that he had been locked out of Robs home and could no longer access his rooms. The
questions that must be asked in this case are the following: 1. Did Chris have the right to enter into a contract with Rob by agreeing to exchange labor
for the use of Robs property? 2. Did Rob have any requirement to inform Chris of his decision to lock Chris out prior to doing this? 3. Because this is
not considered a tenancy agreement, did Rob violate any of Chris rights by locking him out? 4. Does Chris age play a role in determining how Rob should have
