Essay / Research Paper Abstract
A 20 page discussion of the importance of incorporating assistive technology for special needs students. Special education students require certain considerations if they are to advance to the best of their capabilities. An extremely important factor in preparing these students to take productive roles in society is the integration of assistive technology into the classroom. This integration is critical not only from the perspective that it allows a student to reach their full academic potential but also in the fact that it serves to acquaint students with the existence and value of such technology so that they can seek to make it a part of their non-academic lives as well. Bibliography lists 17 sources.
