indicate that "direct instruction" in the style of a lecture is an ineffective method of transmitting knowledge for most students, and doesnt take into account individual learning needs. Accordingly, a
well-made lesson plan must take into account principles of classroom management, the method of instruction, and even the physical layout of the room. These paragraphs explain the criteria by
which the student will later critique the lesson plans. Classroom management is the process by which a teacher introduces order into a classroom full of diverse children, chaotic by its
nature. This is accomplished in a number of ways, but unfortunately, studies show that many teachers are totally unprepared for classroom management (Allen, 2010). Luckily, development of sound classroom management
strategies is not difficult. The teacher must develop a stable and consistent system for performing administrative tasks such as disseminating assignments clearly, picking them up on time, grading and returning
them promptly, and so on (Allen, 2010). Additionally, classroom management involves the practice of helping students to engage with one another directly, in an open and interactive manner that facilitates
learning, through the use of group or partner exercises (Allen, 2010). Moreover, Allen (2010) writes that behavioral problems fall into the domain of classroom management - the teacher who excels
at classroom management strategies will have a sound plan for effectively dealing with disruptions in a manner that engages rather than isolates the student causing the disruption. The importance of
