On first glance, the home page appears to be cluttered and quite busy, but closer inspection reveals that it is arranged well and offers the site visitor
a variety of options while also meeting the needs of the company. A series of nine buttons across the top of the page offers quick choices by product area,
as well as a store locator button. The site visitor intent on reordering an OfficeMax product by product number, looking only at furniture or searching through printer ink and
toner options can choose one of those buttons to go directly to the portion of the site where s/he can view and search through those items only. There is
also a generic search field option at the center top of the page. Below these product area buttons, OfficeMax displays several boxes highlighting
its current promotions. One of the current ones is a "buy two, get one free" promotion of selected items useful for the current back-to-school sales season. The entire
left frame is dedicated to a list of current discounts such as a Texas Instruments TI-84 graphing calculator, offered in a pink case and promising an instant $10 savings.
Another offer in this area of the page is one that provides the purchaser of two HP toners with a free wireless keyboard and mouse package.
