as Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) help low income families acquire nutritional food. Babies, in particular, stand to suffer significantly with the absence of a healthy diet, showing signs
through chronic illness, growth decrease, distress and temperamental problems. Indeed, nutrition does not only influence a babys rate of growth, but it is also essential as the building blocks
of strong emotional and mental capacities. One infant in approximately every ten thousand live births will suffer from trisomy 13 chromosome defect (Pataus
Syndrome), a genetic condition that is often not properly diagnosed until after the child has died just months after birth. This circumstance stems from the fact that an additional
