world are utilized a great deal. Outsourcing has become an acceptable part of the business world. Chooki (2004) claims that the issue of outsourcing is not political anymore. Some executives
interviewed claim that there are still challenges as it respects outsourcing and that India is a particular problem (2004). One difficulty with outsourcing to India for example is that even
when the people speak English, the accents vary a great deal (2004). This impedes communication. There are ways to resolve the problem. For instance, one company created local human resource
opportunities and this ensured that there would be no miscommunication (2004). In other words, the firm hired locals in India. Of course, that solution presents other challenges. One difficult problem
with setting up offices in India is in respect to finding the right people (2004). Also, while outsourcing is supposed to save money, and it does, there are hidden costs
such as retraining and training the people (2004). Also, bridging the communication gap by learning slang and colloquialisms does take both time and money (2004). When cultures clash, things can
be even more difficult. While outsourcing may be a good idea, it does present challenges for many executives today. Larry Manao is an executive interviewed and he claims
that he would not recommend the practice when a business is in its early stages (Chooki, 2004). This is an idea that makes sense. Until a business is off the
ground it is possible that things could go wrong. If communication is a factor, a fledgling business could fail. In respect to outsourcing, the author concludes that while India has
