by big business and why people are so critical about the status quo. It seems that people are unhappy with bureaucracy and large organizations tend to create situations where
people are not enjoying their roles. As workers in large corporations, people are usually assigned certain tasks and so are not looked at as holistic employees. Rather, they fill a
particular role, but are often not privy to other parts of an organization. The main idea of the article in question is that economic justice can be a reality. The
three most important facts that the author uses to support the main idea goes to the concepts that corporations can allow for balanced jobs, redistributing power and dignifying work. Interestingly,
much of what the author recommends can be related to Marxism. Marx saw the paid wage laborer as someone who worked at the whim of an employer. He was not
happy in his work because he could only perform part of a task. Thus, alienation would become a reality. The most common examples of this come from factory work or
work in a similar industry. An individual only does one thing all day, has breaks and lunch, socializes at the water cooler and punches out at the end of
the day. None of the work at the factory is meaningful. It may be that the individual has diversions and friendships at the workplace but the work itself is not
very important because it is usually comprised of simple tasks and not a compilation of tasks. Authors of the article talk about balanced job complexes and training employees to do
a myriad of tasks instead of one particular task over and over again. In it, hierarchy is eliminated and everyone is capable of performing a variety of duties. One can
