more challenging and this trend will only increase in the future. In order to respond to the issue of diversity in the workplace, there is a need to relate
the history of diversity management and create a new research agenda to investigate diversity management initiatives in the modern workplace. Statement of Problem The authors argue that diversity in
the workforce will continue and management needs to assess the implications for their organizations. As a result of the already increasing multicultural workplace setting, managers are looking for ways
to create initiatives for diversity management. As a result, there is a need for scholars and management to work together to create effective research. The central principles that
are related in this study are diversity management and the use of diversity management initiatives. This study, then, provides a narrative assessment of the views in the current literature
as well as projections for future research. As a result, the method utilized in this study is qualitative. The authors conclusion about the purpose of the study is
that more effective research is needed. Review of Literature The existing research maintains the authors initial supposition, that the workforce is becoming increasingly diverse and that organizations are
implementing diversity management techniques as a part of their response to the multicultural workplace. The authors then argue that these companies are implementing change initiatives without first determining the
