article that conveys a great deal of information. This well structured paper is easy to read, but some elements may have been clarified in the introduction. The first paragraph ends
with the question "What is the cause of managements fantastic faith in the machinery?". However, the hypothesis of the paper is not clearly stated. It appears that Feynman is arguing
that the safety of the shuttle is dependant on past performance, which may or may not be right. The figures given by management and engineers appear to be different, and
in asking this question it appears that the identification of the differences will be the focus of the paper. The focus of
the paper appears to be the gathering of information. This is well set out, with the author telling the reader how this information was gathered, form the use of
reports and also with a visit taking place to gain a greater in depth knowledge, interviewing the authors to verify the interpretation of the reports. The introduction tells us what
the author is going show the reader and then goes into the body of the paper. The structure is well defined, the
section are introduced with a beginning sentence, but are labelled with subtitled for each topic discussed such as Solid Rockets (SRB) and Liquid Fuel Engine (SSME). The structure of each
section is similar. Each of the sections takes a similar format with an introduction body and conclusion. The arguments are put forward,
the figures are presented for the engineers figures, with a brief outline on how they have been reached. for example in the first section the failure rate for solid rockers
