order to help families survive. However, in modern society, in the United States, child labor is considered one of the most evil social realities. The United States is pushing, through
various organizations, to put an end to child labor in many developing countries, arguing that it is one of the worst things a society can do to children. The following
paper agues that child labor is a necessity in many countries and until conditions change in those countries families need working children if they are to survive. Argument
for Child Labor To begin with, as mentioned, it needs to be understood that the prime entity that is arguing and pushing for changes in child labor conditions is the
United States. In all honesty it appears as though the United States has a tendency to behave as though it is the parent of the world in many ways, yet
they do not really take care of other people like a good parent should. They like to insist one country or another should have a democracy, or that one or
another country should engage in social structuring in a different way. It is as though the United States feels it has some enlightened perspective that can help the entire world,
controlling other cultures it does not even begin to understand. America takes its own ideals and puts them on cultures they do not even truly see, thinking all nations
should approach their lives from an American perspective. This is essentially a very ignorant and presumptious way to address the cultures of the world for the United States has no
idea what it is like to be a part of a different culture, for example, a culture that relies on child labor for survival. In addition, the fact that the
