should be used are that irrefutable facts rather than subjective reasoning serves as a solid foundation for any and all arguments, regardless of subject matter.
Each and every American brings his or her own set of unique circumstances to the issue. As a parent, there is fear for the health and safety
of children. As a parent who grew up as part of the "baby boom generation," there may be very real concerns stemming from their own experiences and experimentation resulting
in a policy of "do as I say, not as I did." As an elected official there are issues of appearances and political correctness. As a businessperson, there
are issues relating to the economy. As a health care provider, there are questions relating to healthy lifestyles and prevention of inherent risk factors. The list goes on
and on, with each person having the slightest bit different perspective, a different variation on the theme. Any proposal, any "solution" will have both positive and negative effects.
