from learning how to continue to learn (Introduction, 2007). This mission and these goals reflect my own perspective and my belief regarding lifelong learning, which has been at the
center of my educational goals since secondary school. I believe that my skills, my capabilities and my commitment to lifelong learning correspond with the mission of Mount Sinai Medical
School. My commitment to learning has been evidenced by my desire to achieve and my ability to attain educational goals. I took a systematic approach to learning
in secondary education and was able to successfully complete my degree program at the age of 16. I graduated at that time with exceptional grades and perfect attendance, demonstrating
my commitment to the learning process. After graduating early, I sought educational experiences that would provide me with the background I would need to enter medical school.
When I began my college education three years ago, I already head an interest in science and focused on studies in biology. At that time, I recognized that I
had an aptitude for math and science courses that would support my pursuit of a Bachelors of Science degree. As I developed in my studies, I decided to pursue
medicine as a career. In particular, I have decided to pursue higher education at Mount Sinai Medical School as the initial focus for my medical career. My commitment
