Advertisement in Detail Apple has a reputation for clever and innovative advertising regardless of medium and regardless of the specific product. This ad is no exception. The large headline in
the left-hand column reads: "Make the ultimate upgrade. To a Mac." Beneath this headline: "Why get a new PC and just upgrade / your computer, when you can get /
a Mac and upgrade your entire / computer experience." A link to "Learn why youll love a Mac" follows. In the right-hand is a picture of a desk Mac and
a Mac laptop, each showing pages that are enticing. The desktop shows three pages: a picture that is obviously in an e-mail; a graphics page, and a list page. The
laptop shows pictures of families. Both show the dock at the bottom. The advertisement is then divided into three columns, each with a bright colorful picture and text and as
the user scrolls over the picture, more text appears. The first picture in the first column reflects a laptop closed which demonstrates that it is remarkably thin with the caption:
Its designed to be a better computer." The first picture in middle column depicts photos with the caption: "It comes with software youll love to use." The picture on
the right side looks like flashes: "It comes with the worlds most advanced OS." The second row shows service techs, images of applications; and a printer with a photograph

row of icons reflect a PC monitor which is colorful with a picture of a virus; a graphic depiction with the Intel Core icon and the desktop of a PC
