population mean. This data was then compared to more recent data; closing prices over the last 30 days. The data was compared against the population mean of 56.25. If the
stock is holding at a level equal to or above the population mean it was determined that the stock should be held. After outlining the way in which the data
had been collected and analysed the results of both a t-test and a z-test indicated that the value was equal to or above the population mean, resulting in a recommendation
to hold the shares. Text The purpose of this paper is to explain the use of the hypothesis statement as well as the testing of the hypothesis statement. We are
testing our hypothesis statement on our stock holdings of the Apollo Group Inc. We want to know at what point of value we should sell the stocks that we hold
as an investment group. We will set a point of value that we do not want the price per share to drop below and then stay there of period of
