a case in Florida in a corporate building. Almost two years later and we still do not really know what happened. The public does not know if the attacks came
from a member of a terrorist organizations residing in the United States, or perhaps a sympathizer who was a United States citizen. The following paper examines some of the information
available in an attempt to perhaps uncover what really happened and where the source of the attacks may have lain. Anthrax When we first heard about the anthrax
attacks in the postal offices on the east coast it was immediately presumed that the attacks came from al-Qaida. Gwen Ifill, of PBSs Online Newshour, "The President and the Vice
President have both said they have suspicions that theres a connection between these anthrax incidents and the events of September 11" (PBS, 2001). However, the orater also asks Amy Smithson,
"Do we have any reason to believe that al-Qaida, for instance, had any kind of an interest in biochemical terrorism prior to this?"(PBS, 2001). Interestingly enough, it seems that
the best response to that comes in the form of the belief, on the part of the government, that the al-Qaida was suspected to have chemical capabilities. The entire
issues of chemical capabilities is what got us into the war with Iraq. And, as of yet there has still be no solid evidence that there were chemical weapon compounds
in Iraq. For the individual who is somewhat pessimistic about the way the government has handled the entire affair, it would seem that the government immediately pinned the anthrax incidents
on the terrorists in order to get public support for the war that was desired by the government. Instead of telling people that such anthrax incidents have taken place off
