we present a summary of his story and then provide an analysis of the conflict within, a look at Orwells presumed view of human nature, and how the book
offers a look at the communist state. Summary The story, as mentioned, is one that involves farm animals. The farm is somewhere in England. In the beginning Old
Major, a pig calls for a meeting with all the farm animals wherein he tells of his dream to have a revolution against the owner of the farm Mr. Homes.
A few days later Old Major dies but his words linger as the animals think about what he said. The most intelligent animals are considered to be the pigs and
they essentially lead the others in planning such a revolution. Two primary pigs are Napoleon and Snowball and they join their intelligence and force with another pig named Squealer. They
come up with a plan or a system of government called "Animalism." A few months later the revolution begins when Mr. Jones comes home drunk. He forgets to feed
the animals and they all break out, running to the house where the food is kept. Mr. Jones discovers what has happened and he tries to kill the animals with
his gun. The animals, however run him off the farm. They also destroy all the tools and implements that are used to control them such as whips and reins. They
celebrate their victory with extra food and the pigs commence to write down rules they must abide by. The rules are: "Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy, Whatever
