better food sources, to cloning animals, even humans, for a variety of reasons, science is delving deeper and deeper into cloning. It is a confusing topic to many in light
of the fact that it could be used to clone human organs that would save lives, but yet also a scientific endeavor that could cause irreparable damage to life. The
following paper examines animal cloning, discussing the pros and cons and then arguing against animal cloning. Animal Cloning Animal cloning, in this particular paper, concerns the act of
cloning livestock for a variety of reasons. There is the cloning of animals to produce more meat for the world, and there is cloning for more milk production as well.
However there is also the process of cloning animals for pet owners who want to create their former pet in all its glory, so to speak. But, most of the
cloning is being done for meat production. In the past farmers have relied on selective breeding to get the best product, breeding only the best producers and livestock. One author

tenderness. These all naturally reflect on the product - and its price - available to retailers" (Harper). In relationship to the pros and the cons many who argue for
cloning argue that it will create better produce for the people and that the animals will be less susceptible to health problems that are associated with traditional breeding methods. In
short, they argue that a cloned piece of livestock is better for everyone than a traditionally bred piece of livestock. Another reason why many argue for the cloning of livestock
