Deathly Hallows and RED; and rewrites the final scene from an episode of the popular ABC show Castle. Discussion Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: The Harry Potter films
are the logical extension of the phenomenally popular books, and most critics agree that the movies do the books justice. This section briefly discusses the latest Harry Potter film in
terms of its theme and character development. It can be argued that character development is the theme of this film. Lets briefly consider the entire series so that the difference
stands out. The first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone introduced the main characters and gave Harry a formidable but not too onerous challenge: defeating the half-formed Lord Voldemort.
But Harry had help: Hermione and Ron proved themselves his allies, and he had the support of a number of professors including, most importantly, Dumbledore. In the second film, the
stakes were raised as Harry had to physically battle Voldemorts monster, the Basilisk, but again, he was surrounded by friends and supportive adults. The third film, the Prisoner of Azkaban
(were leaving off the "Harry Potter and" bit of the title-theyre all the same) introduced new enemies but also new allies, including Harrys godfather, Sirius Black. The fourth effort, the
Goblet of Fire, concentrated more on the Triwizard Tournament and less on the gathering of evil forces; it was a seeming break from the steady darkening of the series, though
it ended in the death of a student. The fifth film, the Order of the Phoenix, took a dramatic turn back toward the evil side of things with the death
of Sirius Black; and then the sixth film devastated audiences and Harry when Snape killed Professor Dumbledore. With Dumbledore gone, Harry has lost his strongest ally and one of his
