Families always go through changes as nothing stays the same. They will go through a myriad of problems that involve making decisions for their children as well as
in terms of financial and moral strength. Spirituality often shifts as does the family paradigm as children grow older. Every marriage in fact must adapt to changes for each partner
and it must expand to accommodate children and close ranks when children leave the nest (Wallerstein & Blakeslee, 1995). Many marriages fail
at critical points. In a hypothetical example, the Jones family is seeking counseling because there are problems within the family paradigm and difficulties within the marriage. The case study should
