2005). The first glaring difference between countries is the very low life expectancy in Rwanda, 44 years, and Iraq, 57 years as compared to Costa Ricas 76 years, the United
Kingdoms 78 years and Australias 80 years. The next statistic that stands out is the infant mortality rates in Rwanda and Iraq, 107 and 94 per 1,000. It is also
Rwanda and Iraq whose population is project to more than double between 2004 and 2050 - 104 percent in Rwanda and 124 percent in Iraq. Considering the fact that these
two countries have very high infant mortality rates and the fact that it is these two countries projected to more than double their population, the birth rate is excessively high
