rule (1993). In the year 221 BC there was a unification the China Dynasty ("China," 2003). Many dynasties would rule between these ancient times and the Middle Ages. Finally,
the well known Ming dynasty would come about between 1366 and finish in 1644 when the Ching took over and ruled between 1644 and 1912 (Roberts, 1993). The republic would
come about in 1912 ("China," 2003). However, during the latter part of Chinese history--and particularly during the 1800s and 1900s--China experienced a great deal of strife inclusive of famines
and civil unrest ("China," 2003). After the Second World War , Communists "under MAO Zedong" would initiate a dictatorship even though Chinas sovereignty was insured (2003). The Peoples Republic
was initiated in 1949 (2003). The people were strictly controlled (2003). This fact has entered the picture when China tries to get along with the rest of the world. It
has surely been criticized for human rights violations. However, in 1978, when DENG Xiaoping introduced some reforms economic decisions had been decentralized and output would accelerate rapidly (2003).
China however has become a valid trading partner for many nations. Still, there are many questions which linger. A good synopsis of the current state is as follows: "Political controls
