will impact on the company. Here we have a company that is already in operation. The business is one that makes and retails custom PCs. In applying for a loan
from the bank the need for projection increases as the bank will also wish to ensure that they are able to repay the loan out of the income that is
available to the business. In this paper we will consider how we may prepare some projections in terms of the needs for the company and to aid the student in
their own work to prepare for this type of project. This will include an in-depth forecast on a month by month basis over two years. The figures used here are
assumed, but can be seen as giving the student a good basis on the way the accounts should be drawn up. The first stage is to produce a projection where
there are two years worth of monthly forecasts, allowing for the new loan. We will assume that as the highest level of projection that is required is thee years, and
that it is at a fixed rate with monthly repayments of ?6,500 per month. We will also assume that this it is for the company to be able to undertake
a specific project that will involve a three year contract for the setting up of a network and then the continuing supply and maintenance of computers. This will result in
contract payments to the company of ?16,000 for the first 12 months and then ?9,000 a month thereafter until the end of the contract. Again, these are fictional amounts, but
can be used to illustrate the way we would look at a project such as this. The contract is due to start in February and the investment will be needed
