They worry about the baby constantly and whether or not he or she is behaving properly. Of course, there is no "proper" behavior to speak of as all babies have
unique personalities and temperaments. In the video entitled Flexible, fearful, or feisty, the temperament of infants and toddlers are relayed and categorized as three different styles as noted by
the title. Infants and toddlers tend to be one of the three. Some infants are very flexible and can adapt quite easily to the environment, where others are afraid of
everything and suspicious of strangers. The latter will likely cry when his or her parent leaves whereas the former may be more adaptable and accepting of new experiences. Finally, the
feisty child is often one who is open to new experiences, enjoys them and actually seeks them out. The video also looks at nine traits that are contained within the
three primary styles. In addition to categorization, film makers also delve into problem solving techniques. In other words, how to treat each of these children is something that is discussed
in the video. The information relayed is excellent for caregivers, parents and students who are studying the behavior of young children. The tape is something that is conducive to learning
how to teach in a pre-school for example or for those embarking on an experience as a nanny. Anyone who is involved with very young children will learn much from
this videotape. One can break the video tape down into three main ideas. The first is the discussion and evaluation of specific traits. Again, while there are nine in
